Description of Subject Matter: These pictures were taken at the 9th Annual Symposium of the Abraham Lincoln Institute (http://www.lincoln-institute.org/ ) : The Latest in Lincoln Scholarship. This annual conference, held at the Archives II facility in College Park, Maryland, features speakers speaking about their new research and then answering questions from the audience. 2006 Images: In 2006, I was using all six Fuji cameras at various times -- an S602Zoom, two S7000s,a S5200, an S9000, and an S9100. The majority of pictures this year were taken with the S9000. For a month or so, I used the S9100, being an updated version of the S9000, hoping it would get over some of the problems I had with the S9000 -- dark videos in low-light as well as uneven flash performance -- but it didn't help so I ended up returning it. I have to say, the S7000s were the best I've used up to this point.. Trips: Florida (two separate trips including Lotusphere and taking care of mom), out west (26,000 pictures in three weeks including Yellowstone), Williamsburg, San Diego (comic book convention), and Georgia. I took over 183,000 photos this year.
