Description of Pictures: The Hunter with Darwyn Cooke:
Eisner Award–winning writer and artist Darwyn Cooke will discuss his evocative graphic novel, The Hunter, based on the 1962 crime classic by Donald E. Westlake (writing under the name Richard Stark). This best seller has been
critically acclaimed in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, and The Washington Post for breathing new life
into one of the classic characters of crime fiction. With a visual style that both pays homage to and plays with ‘60s retro style, The Hunter vividly depicts the film noir genre.

2010 photos: Equipment this year: I was using mostly the Fuji S100fs. (I'm on my third copy of it.) For formal receptions, I'm using the Nikon D90 since it has a better chance of getting the one-shot picture. I still have the S200EHX but I'm undecided about it.
Trips this year: So far, none! I've got so many local commitments that I'm having trouble getting away. I've got a trip planned to Lexington, Kentucky to cover the Civil War Preservation Trust's annual conference there. I've also got my normal trip planned out west that hinges on the San Diego Comic-Con. And that will probably be it.
Ego strokes: The year's young. Nothing major so far.
Photos taken this year: 134,000 through April -- just a hair higher than last year's frenetic pace.
